Crash with flower pot: Amaranth man charged with impaired driving

A 64-year-old man is facing impaired charges following a crash afterinvolving an E-bike and a flower pot in Orangeville.

Chris Halliday — The Banner A 64-year-old Amaranth man has been charged with several criminal charges, including impaired driving, after Orangeville police say he crashed his E-bike into a flower pot on Broadway near Fourth Street Friday evening. On July 26 around 6:40 p.m., Orangeville police say a man was operating an E-bike eastbound on Broadway when he lost control, struck the curb and collided with a flower pot in front of 46 Broadway. The crash caused the rider to fall off of the bike. Police came upon the collision scene seconds later. EMS was dispatched to assess the man for injuries. Upon further investigation, the man was arrested for impaired driving. Robert Lulic, 64, of Amaranth, was charged with operation while impaired, operation while over 80, five counts
