Sweet Honey 'Kormecaso' has been named as the Rose of the Year for 2020 – and it will launch at this year's RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.
With a moderate fruity fragrance, the disease-resistant plant blooms in clusters of 12-15 flowers in creamy-apricot tones, reminiscent of honey, which actually inspired its name.
The floribunda rose, bred by the respected Kordes Rosen of Germany, has a strong, bushy, upright growth habit with glossy dark-green foliage. It's perfect for mixed borders and pots on a terrace, and can also be planted to form a low hedge.
